The Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Office of the President, recently released a memorandum for the heads of executive departments and agencies on the subject of “training in the federal government.” This represents a fundamental misunderstanding of both critical race theory and the term white privilege and the extensive body of empirical research underlying them.
